Ivan Specht is a PhD candidate at Stanford studying phylogenetics with applications to infectious disease response. He is a recent graduate of Harvard College, where he developed outbreak tracking technologies in the Sabeti Lab. He is a 2024 Hertz Fellow and 2024 Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
