Todd Brown, a co-creator of Operation Outbreak and a former teacher and Congressional Teacher of the Year, Henry Ford Foundation, and Ignite Education for innovation, co-created Operation Outbreak to transform outbreak science education.

Kian Sani, a Harvard College alumnus, leads operations, partnerships, and growth strategy for Operation Outbreak, expanding its global reach and advancing outbreak science education and real-world biosecurity preparedness.

Henry Aceves, an undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University and former Operation Outbreak High School Ambassador, works on AI research and designs new simulation features at Operation Outbreak.

Sol Bloomfield, a Yale College graduate and former McKinsey & Company consultant, supports strategic growth, partnership management, and performance analytics at Operation Outbreak.

Susan Cropp, former biosecurity program lead for the Weapons of Mass Destruction Directorate at the FBI, advises Operation Outbreak as it expands its biosecurity workshops and simulations into a comprehensive, full-scale biosecurity program.

Sellers Hill, a recent Harvard College graduate with experience in journalism, biomedical research, and politics, supports operations and shapes strategic partnerships at Operation Outbreak.

Curtis Hoffmann, a graduate student at Georgetown University and founder of the first Operation Outbreak student association, conducts biosecurity workshops and supports student ambassadors of outbreak science education.

Arya Rao, an MD-PhD candidate at Harvard/MIT, leads artificial intelligence efforts at Operation Outbreak alongside her doctoral research in AI for genomics in the Sabeti Lab.

Christopher Shin, an undergraduate at Harvard College, has experience in infectious disease modeling, genomic epidemiology, and public policy, and supports simulation design and epidemiology research at Operation Outbreak.

Ivan Specht, a PhD candidate at Stanford University and a 2024 Hertz Fellow and Knight-Hennessy Scholar, develops infectious disease-tracking technologies and leads epidemiology efforts at Operation Outbreak.

Aiden Taylor, an undergraduate at Harvard College studying Sociology, Global Health, and Health Policy, has experience in emergency management, disaster response, and emergency medical services, and supports Operation Outbreak’s technology in emergency management.

Jill Vialet, founder of Playworks and the Museum of Children’s Art (MOCHA), advises Operation Outbreak on organizational strategy, governance, and team culture as it scales its outbreak science education mission.
